I read an article today that is absolutely making me insane. Heaven forbid anyone, especially “black” people, get offended. This has become so out of control.
The fact that you have to say “the black officer” did this to a “black woman” is insane! The officer did his job, the woman involved did what she did. Why does everything have to be labelled?!!? Because if it was a white cop he’d be fired. Who the fuck cares what color anyone is, we all live on earth. We all have societal idiots and we all have good people. Every. Single. Race. Has stupid people and smart people. Get over it all already!
As a woman, I’m thankful I have options now because of strong people a long time ago. As someone who has never seen “color”, I AM still very thankful there’s more options for different races.
That’s not to say there isn’t still assholes out there who believe a woman’s job is in the kitchen or that a “black” person doesn’t “belong”. Those people will ALWAYS be there. Why? Because something bad happened to them when they were younger, and it happened to involve their mother or another ethnicity. Or, and the more unfortunate one, they were taught, by a even more ignorant human being. It’s more unfortunate because they will never know how amazing it is to be friends with people who can teach you new things. Teach you how to love life more.
I’m tired of seeing it everywhere. People, in general, need to be more compassionate, more understanding. Blacks hating whites, Americans hating every Muslim, human beings hating other human beings. Fuck the douchebags and asshats. They don’t deserve your love. That’s their loss. Stop worrying about these bigoted assholes and realize there are so many other people who do deserve your love.
